At least, I don't bite hard.

Comment to be added.

I promise I don't bite.

Ugh, I need to stop doing this! I get so caught up in other affairs that I completely forget this journal exists.

I'm a terrible blogger.

Official List -- 101 in 1001

Yes, I've finally posted my list. I'm officially starting today, April 20. Some of these goals of mine will be relatively easy. Others...not so much. We'll see what happens, won't we? ^_^

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording--okay, there's a bit of ambiguity, but I can clarify it later on) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Start: Sunday, April 20, 2008
Finish: Sunday, January 16, 2011

*steps up onto pedestal*

I've made a new journal. The new journal will not be replacing this journal. However, the new journal is a specialized blog.

I made this new journal to talk about my adventures in learning (and re-learning) various languages. Eventually, I'll probably put in recurring features, like a "[random language] word of the [fill in time increment here]", or rants about why some language features are harder to grasp than others. This new journal will also be for me to look at all the language communities I've joined, in order to cut down on the clutter on my f-list.

If you want to friend that journal, this is the post to comment on to indicate that you're friending it. However, if you do not have a LJ account, and you still want to read it (i.e. if you're here from Facebook), you do not have to register to get one, since all the posts will be public.

After a week or so, I'll be date stamping this post so it'll always appear after my "friends only" post.

Semi-public entry and announcement!

Howdy everyone who happens upon this journal on this, the happy 5th of November (remember, remember). I'm going to be following the lead of a few friends of mine by first doing a minor "cut" of people who no longer read this journal.

SO, if you are currently my LJ-friend, and you still read my journal, please comment saying so! I'll check on this post in a week, and will be doing the evil cut from there.

Second-forth: I'm not participating in LJIdol this time around (school is evil for taking away most of my social time), but I do hope to be playing "the home game". All this means is that I'll hopefully be taking the topic for the week and writing an entry. What this also means is that I don't have the obligation to write for every theme, I can skip weeks, and so on/so forth.

THEREFORE, if you want to read my random LJIdol-related postings, let me know here! I'll be setting up a special "LJIdol" friends filter, so that I'm not spamming the people who don't wish to be spammed.
